Building mine into an 853 for this season lol what was your best time at nhms? Is either spare subframe allow/mag? Any race nose fairings?
On this bike at 64 years old I did 1:20s might have done a high 19s. Both spare sub frames are stock alum and buy my bike you will save a lot of money building yours!
If those are actually aluminum not steel id be interested in buying one. Ill pm you as well. Lol and way to wait to save any money now
sorry their steel not sure what I was thinking.
Roger that thanks for checking.
Ha, not surprised to see this listed here. to answer your question Duffy, I raced a 748/853 in the early 2000's and got down to 1:17's, more consistently in the 18-19's, as a middling Expert around the time. Seems high teens are well within the limits of the platform, and mid- or low- teens if you're proper fast. I think Brett Guyer recently raced his 748 no? Unsure of his times but he's quick AF.
Appreciate the response to that, gives me some hope lol
