I'll give you one Phillips head wood screw for it.
I'll find out if it's galvanized & get back to you.

Believe me, I feel rediculous selling this tire but back when I questioned about plugging this tire, I discovered there were people that plugged tires to use. There is a good amount of meat to this tire so why not pass it on to those that are not as paranoid as others?
hehehe, just teasin bro... you said best offer gets it so I made an offer
If it were me, I'd probably just plug it & run it.

Thanks Kurt. I imagine for street a plug would be fine but I seem to picture at the track like the bowl, when alot of G force is pressing down on the tires, the patch better flex at the same rate of the tire rubber in order to retain the seal.
The mushroom plug I know is done with the tire off the wheel. How much does it overlap the hole? I think this thread is turning into a "maintenance" sub forum thread.
Hey Kurt my mistake, I thought this mushroom plug is done with the tire off the wheel. Is there a comparable patch/plug method that can be done with the tire off the wheel? I just may continue using these tires this season.
Tire Tips
This is the type of patch/plug thing that you want.

This tire still kickin around? I'll take it from ya. Shoot me a pm or email.
Thanks
Leo
Sorry loridin64, Kurt does have dibs. I sent ya a PM Kurt. I decided next time this happens I'll get a mushroom plug kit. After all, this kit can be used on car tires too so would be a good investment. I researched the style patch/plug combo and found that buying all the tools and chemicals, you'd be looking at almost 100$ to do the job with alot of extra material to do more. I won't be repairing 20+ tires off the rim in the near future so I decided againsed this method, although it seems to be the most effective.
well, if it falls through you know who to go to
Thanks Kurt. Much appreciated
