    Epiphone Dot Studio

As far as I know, this is an Asian market guitar (imported from Japan by me), from 2011. I’ve never seen a normal epi sunburst 2 knob like this in the states. Knobs have been switched to have the switch in front like a normal 335, and the volume pot has a treble bleed on it (so it doesn’t muddy up as you roll off the volume). Everything else is stock, best I can tell.
Action is currently medium, as I haven’t switched it to flats and set it up like I normally would.
It has a couple minor finish marks, a tiny bit of swirl, the most notable being the chip on the back of the headstock and the excess glue/finish buckle around the top side of the neck joint (which is pretty common across the epiphone set neck line IME). I have a single ply pick guard and bracket to install, but I’ve yet to do it, the pg still has the plastic on it, which is why it might look a little odd in the pic where I mocked it up. Fret wear is almost nil, except a tiny bit in the cowboy chord area. It’s a cool piece, I was gonna use it as a mod platform to create a sorta kooky one off, but I found another that I like in almost stock trim that really suites my fancy as is.

Nice looking. I don’t own any semi’s, but that seems heavy? (Not a bad thing, I don’t mind weighty guitars at all)

When I was 16-18 I wanted one of these so bad. Was too busy wasting money on everything else imaginable though. Bump for a good deal.
