Wanted EX500 CDI BOX

Headed out to look at a 94 EX500 next week and the seller says it's a runner but needs a new CDI box. Would be great to have one to bring with me to verify that is indeed the problem before I shell out the cash for the bike.

Anyone have a spare CDI box they can loan or sell to help a guy out?

Did you go look at the bike yet? I'm kinda curious about it.

I sent the guy an email (I'm assuming it's the same bike) and when the response came (about a week later) from "oldjapbikes" @ something.com, I figured it wasn't gonna be a case of simply plugging in a CDI box.

I told the guy Friday I wanted the bike. He said he was going out of town until monday night. I called him back Tuesday morning and the bike was sold.
I'm probably better off without it.
