Feeler: 05 R6 Raven- not your usual R6

Ok, so I may be going abroad next year and I'm thinking of getting a cage for the winter. This wouldn't be immediate sale since I'm still taking it to a track day before the season is over.

I love this bike, really don't want to sell it- thought I would keep it forever but financially it may not be the best idea to hold on to it after this season.

It's a 2005 R6 Raven, 4,500 miles now and I ride it almost daily.

Parts:
Propulsion- BMC race filter, Velocity stacks, slide stops, ignition advanced +4, Racefit Growler exhaust, PCIII tuned, Vortex 520 kit +1/-1 gearing, speedohealer, Marchesini Forged aluminum wheels, PP 2CT tires

Controls/Brakes- Vortex rear sets, Pazzo shorty levers, Progrip grips, Stompgrip tank pad, Galfer brake kit front and rear (wave rotors, calipers, pads, lines), steering stabilizer

Other- Dual HID kit, Gear Indicator, Sliders wherever you can put them (bar ends, clutch, swingarm, frame), carbon fiber panels, PP tuning race gas cap, Graves chain adjusting kit (the hooks on the end of the swingarm), integrated tail lights/blinkers, DB windscreen, Scorpio Alarm, and full set of track plastics.

I'm thinking $8000 without the wheels but with the track plastics and racefit exhaust.























Again, just a feeler- I really want to keep it, and yes I did just get it like 3 or 4 months ago. I'll try to do all I can to keep it but it depends on how next year will play out. So for now I'm putting it out there to gauge interest.

dude thats WAYYYY TOO high of a price for that bike..its definitley unique and beautiful...but i dont think your gonna get that much. the whole lot is probably worth about $6500 tops imho.. part it out..youll get close to what you want

+1. I know you want to get back what you have into it but it just doesnt happen. I picked up my new R6 for less then what youre asking. Yes I know it doesnt have all the extra parts but in the end they really dont add a ton of value to the resale of the bike.

i'd drop it to 6k without the wheels, exhaust, plastics.

a 05 raven with galfer brakes and all the other stuff with only 5k miles is good for 6k imo. what do you guys think?

I would say list it for 6900 with all the goodies take 6300 ..or list it for 5900 without and take 5300.. especially this time of year your gonna have a hard time selling for prime$$..maybe wait until next spring?..anyway..good luck! the bike is sweet !

its a 2nd gen R6, you will not even see 6k for it, unless you sell it to some dope - sorry

without goodies you're lucky to get 5000 - i hope you get more though dude

hmm... ok. Well this has pretty much convinced me to keep it. I wouldn't be able to part it out, it would suck and I love it so fuck getting a cage.

so now i'll need some heated grips and something to keep my neck warm.
