    Feeler : 1988 Hawk GT Tempest Grey - $1750

EDIT: Pending sale, deposit in hand.

Picked this up and now that shes running right I don't think another hawk is what I need at the moment. Plus my accident with my primary one is ending up costing a bit more so I'd rather just get that one right. Anyways wanted to offer it up on forums first. 1988 with 30k miles.

    New:
shinko 006 160 rear tire + valve stem
shinko 006 110 front tire (not brand new but less than 500 miles - still has nubbers on it) + valve stem
    all balls front wheel bearings
    rotella dino 15-40 oil
    k&n filter
    oem cush rubbers
oem carb to intake rubber boots
flushed coolant and replaced with toyota red
    oem petcock filter
    oem tank to filter line
    oem in-line fuel filter
Cleaned carbs with new oem a/f screws (provided by Hordpower) and bowl gaskets (K&L). float height is right on. Screws set to 2 turns out. (Harry's) Machine shop had to get a/f screws out and there is a slot machined in one of them (pic below), which does not effect functionality since they re-tapped and the seal is well below there.
    battery
Got a front threaded tank sleeve because removing that once without the threads was about all the patience I had for that
    aftermarket fuel pump (oem sized/electric)

    Notes:
Has racetech springs but hadn't taken the forks apart - just took them off the bike to polish/clean. Has adjustable caps
Output shaft is good, sprockets and chain look good too. slack is set more than the oem spec
choke emulsion tubes work well, not clogged
tank is SPOTLESS inside (jealous). few clear coat scratches on the outside that i tried and failed to capture on the camera. Previous owner mentioned there is a buckle scrape or mark under the pad.
brake pads are in good shape
has the infamous 'washer' under the rear axle nut! hah - first time seeing one!
air filter was in good shape

Just putting feelers out to see if there is any interest at the moment, I'm thinking $1750 to forum members. Was going to put it up $1999 on CL if it went there. Located Franklin, MA

I was waiting to register it until I got it running so the title is in the old owners name still with a blank buyer. Unfortunately he marked the "odometer has exceeded mechanical limits", but it is what it is.
