I'm starting to think that riding on the street is not for me anymore. There are too many meatheads out there not paying attention and sooner or later someone's gonna git me. I think it’s time to get my rocks off on the track.
So, with that said, I’m thinking about getting rid of my beloved SuperDuke. I have a feeling it would be too expensive to keep as a track only bike. Ideally (and I know this is a long shot) I'd like to trade my bike even for decent track bike or track bike candidate. Barring that I'd sell it. Not sure how much for though...
The bike is an orange 2007 with 6000 miles. It's been well maintained by Cliff's Cycles. It just had a new chain, valve inspection and ECU remap. Fork seals were done this past winter. Tires have less than a thousand miles on them (Metzler Sportec M3's). The only modification is a set of Rizoma rearsets. The bike was in a minor traffic accident last year while on a NESR group ride. It's been fully checked out by Peter Kates at G.M.D. I've got some new and some rashed parts to go with it (new lower cowling & heat shield, new turn signal, rashed clutch cover and so on). Clean title in hand.
