    FS: Woodcraft rearsets - 06 R1

Just throwing it out there, might be looking to sell a set of Woodcraft rearsets off an '06 R1. They're aluminum with pedals and are in great condition. Was looking to go with black, adjustables, but only if I get a good price on these.

Can post pictures later, but they are in very good condition and here's a link to the site with a picture and original cost: http://www.woodcraft-cfm.com/Scripts...dproduct=17631

    Thanks for looking.

Okay, doesn't look like there's any interest, but finally snapped some pics the other day when I was washing the bike and putting it away for the winter, so thought I'd post them. There in great shape, just some minor boot scuffing on the heel guards. Here's the brake side.

    Re: FEELER: Woodcraft rearset

Here's the shifter side which has more scuffing than the right side, but still pretty minor. You have to be fairly close to see it and it's on the shift lever, too. No scraping on the pegs or any other wear to them.

They're still on the bike, but can be removed fast if someone is interested. If not...economy, Christmas, price...I'll just wait until spring. Thanks.

    Re: FEELER: Woodcraft rearset

Hey, Did you use these rearsets for street??

I just purchased a set of WoodCraft Rearsets off eBay (wicked cheap might I add) and got a set of the instructions for the installation from Woodcraft. As I read the begining paragraph I read

As such, the footpegs are solid-mount and provisions for brake light switches and brake pedal return springs are generally not provided.

If you did use them on the street was there anything special you need to do for your brake light to work?

Oh and Bump for the sale....

You need to add a Pressure switch and splice it in.

The rear brake light was NOT hooked up on the bike these were installed on. IT's NOT a requirement to have BOTH brakes illuminate the brake like just ONE.

They were used for street, but I just bought the bike. As has already been said, I guess the previous owner didn't have any problem getting it inspected, but I was looking at a replacement banjo bolt like this:
    http://www.solomotoparts.com/catalog...y-p-21000.html

My solution is Gilles VCR rearsets that have the brake light wired in, hence the for sale post. My probationary period is almost up at R1 forum, so I'll probably post them there soon. I know a lot of people like them, especially for racing, they're real durable, but I want something more adjustable for my height.

    Re: FEELER: Woodcraft rearset

just spend the $18 and get a brake light switch & be done with it. you're better off with the woodcraft rearsets anyways

Okie dokie...it's spring, so put them back out there.
$250 or would trade for fuel management for an 06 R1 (preferably Bazzaz)

ps- can't figure out how out how to change title of thread from feeler to FS.

Forgot to mention that they're regular shift (1 down, 5 up) and not GP.
