Free ex-500 (used to be race bike)

I have a 1985 EX-500 former race bike for free if anyone wants it.

It comes with three extra rims, two that have tires on them.

It doesn't start, the key is broken in half and that's about it.

I will take some pictures of it tomorrow and post them.

Catch 22 has first dibs on it as he PMed me first, Jon is second and Jeff third.

The bike does not start, when I asked the ex guys they said it was something about the brushes and magnets for the starter that need to be cleaned. When you try to start it you can hear something spinning but that's about it.

16 inch rims - Battery is probably dead as it hasnt been used for 2 years but I will throw it on the charger tomorrow as well.

Mike, the Starter gear behind the stator is notorious for breaking off of the ring. I guarentee you thats it, mine had one broken when i first got it and did the same thing.

kinda hard for a bike to be a 85 when it wasnt made till 87
