im new i think your sister needs to be attacked and hit by a truck,I have two pitts and would never let them go for nothing,i would get rid of the g/f before the dogs,did you find a home yet.If not i know of a lady that fosters them in great barrington,I got one of my dogs there ,the lady does all of this just for something to do

Everything should be set. I should be passing papers on the condo and moving in next weekend. I'm all set to take the pup if she's still available then.

Unfortunatly the condo just passed a breed law that I was given notice of at the closing tuesday. :-( I'm not happy about it at all. All of these dogs are on it. I wrote them a letter to see if I can get grandfathered in but I think the chances are slim to none.

I agree, I just saw all the stuff relating to pitbulls and started looking at the australian cattle dogs, which would definitly be my second choise in breed, I even filled out an app to adopt one yesterday, then i saw the list and could believe it was on there. That thing is the smartest most well behaved dog I've ever met.

I'd love to meet the Cattle dogs you have been around. The only ones I have ever met are loud, hyper anklebiters. This information should have been given to you prior to signing the papers on the Condo. You might have grounds to get grandfathered in.

my complex said something real similar... i told em Nero was part fox terrier and part unknown. which really is all i know about his breeding.
they said that was fine.

looking at him now he may very well have pit bull, boxer or something like that in him. i aint telling no one though.

Tell em it's a mutt... if that doesn't work, say you've had the dog since it was 4 weeks old and if you knew it was on there you wouldn't have signed the lease... then think of how much wasted alcohol, drugs & pussy there is in this world & get some water works goin... see if they call your bluff.

It's not a lease it's a deed. I don't think it's wise to try to pull some shady stuff like pretend it's a different breed or or lie to them. Loosing my home is a pretty serious consiquence that I don't think is worth that. Even so you need to register the dog with the town, and i'm assuming the breed is on the dog license. I'm pretty sure there's no way around it.

Just get a Malinois and piss off and/or terrify the neighbors. A dog trainer I know has one, it is the most amazing animal I have ever seen. He takes it to French Ring competitions, which is like the Police dog olympics.
