I'm posting this for a friend and can attest that they are a
responsible rider and owner. They take care of their toys meticulously. Bike is located in New Boston, NH
Here are all the details:
2002 Aprilia SLR1000 (Falco) with 6,600 miles (adult owned). Well maintained and stored in a garage.This bike cost 11K new, asking $5,500.
Power comes from a 1000CC Rotax V-twin engine which provides lots of low end torque. This bike handles awesome and is a blast to ride. It is great for someone who enjoys riding sportbikes but can't take the fully bent over riding position. I have installed heli-bars which makes the ride even more comfortable. Brakes and wheels are Brembo front and rear. Slipper clutch helps to reduce wheel hop when downshifting. An aprilia rear fender eliminator is installed. Aprilia carbon fiber high performance exhaust produce an awesome sound. The airbox has been de-restricted and the factory high performance map is activated to add extra power (approx 126). Brand new Michelin 2CT (dual compound) Pilot Powers front and rear. Never raced or abused. Rear seat is included. I have more pictures if needed.
Bike is in excellent condition except for a couple of small scrapes from rolling off the kickstand, one mark on the stainless steel band of the left exhaust can the other on the left side lower fairing which you can hardly see.

I love the test ride that South Shore Motorsports put together with Aprilia. I fell in love with this bike over the Mille. SOOOOO comfortable. Why do I have to love bikes so much. As much as I want to pull the trigger 5 is already too much. Thanks for putting this up.
