Battery Tender Junior on sale and car detailing!

    Deltran Battery Tender Junior

On sale, then get an extra 15 percent off with the code "TURKEY15"

You can also order the Battery Tender Plus, just search around.

I figured I'm ordering some up now so I might as well help some folks out prepping for winter.

On a side note, I'm just starting to get into auto detailing so if anyone would like their car buffed/polished/sealed, drop me a line!

To truly detail a car you have to clean it, buff it, polish and seal it. There are more steps than just waxing a car.

    I am curious how much?

Do you use an oribital? or a real buffer?

Umm, I really have no clue. It would take me about 5-6 hours give or take two. By sealed, I mean using a sealant like Klasse AIO topped with Klasse Sealant Glaze to give the paint a durability and protection for about nine months - much more than a wax can do. I'm thinking about starting a website and doing these things on the weekend. I'm thinking like somewhere at about $100-$150. I've seen details at about $275, so I figure since I'm new I could build a reputation.

This is my complete run down on all of my 菟ackages肉

    Wash and Vac package:
Wash with high quality car wash concentrate such as Blue-Coral to remove all previous waxes and/or sealants as well as gently removing dirt and grime.

    Machine (blow) dry

    Wheels cleaned with concentrate
Tires and fender wells cleaned with concentrate
Tires and fender wells dressed with whatever I feel like using that day.

    Windows cleaned

All exterior plastic trim protected (usually with Klasse AIO)
All metal and chrome polished including tail pipes

    Door jams de-greased and cleaned

Entire Interior wiped down and vacuumed (trunk upon request)
    Interior windows cleaned

    Price:
    $30-$35-$40 depending on size.

    Upgrade options:
Light wax (either AW, Souveran Spray, Optimum, Black Magic etc.) for another $10 for any size vehicle

My next package includes all above plus the entire interior cleaned, de-oderized, conditioned and protected. Exterior also receives clay barring and included is a premium spray wax.
    Price:
    $70-$80-$90 depending on size.

My final package includes everything above but of course paint polishing/correcting. I'll use as many steps as 2 for the entire vehicle. The front windshield includes Klasse AIO applied by white pad and PC. Wheels are clayed and waxed. Paint includes a carnauba wax.
    Price:
    $150-$175-$200 depending on size.

    Upgrades:
Add a sealant instead of wax for another $25. I use Klasse AIO.

Add my "wet paint package." I try to this for high end vehicles.
After polishing, I use Klasse AIO, followed Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze.
    Add $15

I also offer a "new car upgrade" package. Includes headlight/taillight polishing, engine cleaning, dressing, and under hood waxing, ALL exterior glass receives Klasse AIO on white pad.
    Add $35

I also offer a "middle of the road package." This is my full detail, but instead of complete polishing, I'll use an AIO likeKlasse.
    Price:
    $120-$145-$170 (I'm tinkering with this)

Exterior only detail w/ complete paint polishing.
    $110 - $135 - $165

    Interior only
    $50 - $55 - $60

I'm still trying to work out the kinks

As of now, an Orbital which is good for correcting 85% of paint out there, without the risk of burning it. Every step I do uses the highest quality products I have at my disposal. if there is something I do not have, I WILL go out and buy it just for your car. I'm just starting this so it will take some time to work some kinks out. Everyone is free to jump on in (I'm only a high school student looking for some dough to pay for my motorcycling addiction!).

It would definitely be worth doing before winter. By polishing and sealing now, you protect your paint from further damage. Come spring or summer, a quick wash and wax will have you back to looking showroom! The sealant will last an average of nine months, so you'd be set until the end of summer 2008.

Holy crap that is a lot of info.

I had a hard time deciphering what the costs were. Can you create an excel sheet to make everything easier to read.

My gf and I would be interested in getting our cars detailed (Inside and Out) for this Saturday if possible.

So I assume you have never done this before, so you would not have any referrals, correct? If we are the first ones to get our cars detailed by you, would we get a discount?

Where would you do this too?

It would most likely be a drop-off pick-up type thing. I have all the supplies and tools needed to do a complete car. And yes, you would probably get a good discount since I'm fairly new at this stuff

I just ordered mine from there. Got the Battery Tender Plus 12V @ 1.25A. Can pay using your PayPal account too. FYI, that TURKEY15 discount applies for this purchase also. Shipping to Quincy was $8.99, and with that 15% 'turkey' discount (thanks cras4u), total was $51.48
