Front and rear stands

I have 2 stands that came with mt SV that I won't use.

The Front is a Lockhart Phillips under the fork leg type.


The rear is the spool type with a custom made leverage handle custom made by Mike Martire.


I'm thinking $100.00. For the set. I want them gone as a set. If you only need one buy both and you sell the one you don't need.

I travel to Boston almost every day and can drop them off within a reasonable distance. They are in manchester nh right now.

I'd grab em up if my damn bike had spools. I'm just nervous about drilling out the swingarm to install threaded inserts...

Anyone know if there are padded pieces available to replace those spool brackets?

huh? why not just drill and thread some tube stock and weld that onto the bottom of the swingarm? thread the spools in to that? maybe the EX guys will tell me I'm crazy, but I don't think they go around drilling their swing arms.

Any chance you could measure how far apart the fronts are where they are supposed to meet the forks? I keep forgetting I have a little bike...

Fixed. It's the if that bothers me. Well, that and having to wait god knows how long to get it done. I'm going to ask someone I know tonight that has a machine shop if he does any welding.

Hm... back to the "it is shitty mcbikefest" school of thought... I work in a Liquid Control company. Some sort of serious adhesive? I also don't want to do anything that wouldn't get past tech.

you're putting way too much thought into this.
buy the stands off KB now that we have mucked up his entire thread.
post up that you need some spool mounts welded on your swingarm.
somebody will be able to do it, not a very complex weld.
