New price $3000Ok, here's the details
Bought new in 2002, had a down at 4k miles and my brother took it but let it sit for about 5 years. I got it back in 2007 and rebuilt it, GMD West Haven checked the frame (nothing at all is wrong is what Mike said). It has PAIR and Flapper Mod, Harris Titanium Slip ons (they are rare, you don't see them) PCIII with a custom map. It makes 121 RWHP, 66 Ft/lbs. Woodcraft clip-ons with carbon fiber bars, Pazzo Shorty levers, Galfer Superbike lines up front. Michelin Power Race tires are on there now, good for the street and possibly another track day. It has a 520 conversion and a -1/+2 gearing change. There are about 10k mikes on it, a little less than what the odometer says because I ran it for one year without the Speedo Healer, which it now has, so it reads properly. I did my first trackdays on it last year, did a total of 5, just being up front about it. Stator was also replaced last year.
Mechanically it is STUPENDOUS. Starts everytime, runs strong and is more than capable of keeping up with the big boys. When I changed the oil a few weeks ago it was clear.
However, aesthetically, she's rough All black paint, all body panels are in bad shape. Ground gave way under it last year in a parking lot and cracked the upper, chipped the tank, no dents though.
It has a CLEAN title, as stated above, so you can run it on the road or make it into a track bike, which was my original plan, but something else has come up. I can deliver within a reasonable distance of Danbury Ct 06811, but that would have to be discussed.
I'm open to reasonable offers. She may be rough to look at, but it is still an RC-51.
