Definitely going to be racing next year, and dont want to be lumped in with heavyweights and running against 750's and 1000's, as the 636 disqualifies me for middleweight, so its gonna go as I have a line on a ready to rock 03 R6 for the track. smile.gif

Bike is a 2003, I am the second owner, and has approximately 33,000 indicated miles on it. Gearing has been at least -1 in the front since the day the first owner had it, so throw in 10-15% for speedo error and call it somewhere between 28 and 30,000 actual miles? Bike comes with a complete set of E-racing.com body work, the broken stock tail plastics, stock red fenger, a new taillight, a set of race/crash rails, Scotts radial steering damper, and will come with the beat set of Michelin Power Races on the rims, a second set in slightly better condition, and a Pilot Power 180 rear with maybe 30% of its life left. Has black pazzo shorties w/ gold adjusters

Most of you have seen the bike, know what kind of shape its in. Its definitely no slouch, the 10x.xx horsepower seems to get it around well enough. smile.gif

Chain and sprockets are new, having been through only 4 trackdays and little else. Front end has been redone by Peter Kates at GMD. Its got I believe 1.0kg springs, and was revalved to be a little bit more on the aggressive side. Rear shock is still stock. Etc etc etc. Its basically a few hours of safety wiring away from being a track/race bike.

Bike is NOT STREET LEGAL. You will need a headlight at the very least. All the stock wiring is intact. Need turn signals too? Not sure of CT law. Subframe is not straight, race plastics line up on it just fine but the stock tail doesnt line up quite right. Could probably be heated up and bent back to where it needs to be possibly.

Feel free to ask me any questions about the bike. Price is negotiable.

What!? I was told 600cc+ is heavyweight, I'd need to get me some 599cc's to stay middleweight?

It's under 640cc's. Looks like it would be a middleweight?

And you'll run well with that in heavyweight (there's no unlimited Novice class...i.e. no Novice 1000's). Especially starting out, it's all about you, not about your bike, however, a lot of the really fast guys still run their 6's in HW

Yep, one of the Mullin's from SVM runs a 636 in middleweight if i'm not mistaken.

August results from AM/EX MWSS with some 636's in there:

I ran my F4i (02) in Heavyweight. Got my first wood 3rd place on it.(my best finish on a 600

In novice Almost no one is faster on a heavyweight bike and the the grids tend to be smaller.

Sorry if I spoiled anyones deal, 3k for that bike is a smoking Deal

Financially, its easier for me to sell the bike and pick up the one I'm looking at, than it is to spend the money on parts to get my 636 up to anything near par with the bike I'm looking at. Its cheaper to sell the bike, kick in a few bones and pick up a ready to race bike, than it is for me to keep dropping money into the Kawi to get it up to snuff persay.
