    FS: 2005 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

Please keep the thread clean.. (PICTURES ARE SHOWN FURTHER IN THIS THREAD on page 2)

    For sale:

2005 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, titanium color. Stock, no mods whatsoever.

The bike is in excellent condition. Never been dropped, never been abused or even ridden hard. It was barely used, spent most of it's time covered in the garage since it was bought, aside from a few rides during nice summer days. Odometer reads 4338 miles on this baby, VERY low mileage. Original tires. The thing purrs like a wild kitten when you start it up...it just beg to be taken for a ride.

$5000.00. Bike will eventually go on Ebay and/or Craigslist soon if it's not sold on here.

    Stock pic from online:

Sweet ride. You should use this as YOUR street bike, V.

I wish...I can handle the power..I'm respectful of it enough to not do anything crazy, but the fact remains that I *barely* can put the tip of my boot down to keep it upright, it's too high for me. Oh well...someone else will hopefully use it and ride it like it deserves to be...

These bikes ride the corners like they're on rails.

I was joking, V. It's obvious that this bike is completely mental. Is there a reason it didn't get ridden much? Ballpark on mileage?

Oh ok...I was wondering how anyone could need anything more sick than this bike...LOL

Ok, I went to start it up, ODO says 4338 miles...as I said...VERY low mileage. The bike is practicaly BRAND NEW. If I remember right, it was paid over $11 000.

    FOR SALE Forum Rules
You need 25+ posts to start a thread or post a link in this forum. Anyone caught posting ads in other forums, or blatantly padding their post count just to get in here will be banned. There have been a few times where a new member wished to post a 'wanted' ad before they hit the 25 post mark - and in this case we usually make exceptions, just pm an admin and we'll help you out. Also, the new classifieds section does not have a postcount restriction at all.

Keep these threads on topic, ONLY reply with pertinent questions and comments. Most of all do not trash other people's "for sale" posts, whether in jest or not.

For fucks sake, yours is the only post that is not on topic with the bike. People commenting about the quality of the equipment helps in it's sale. But thanks for looking out for the sake of fuck.

I don't know what's funny, or who explained what to you, all it means is that the bike handles great.

Re: FS: 2005 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

I like Kawasaki, they keep ergonomics in mind, allowing for more comfortable seat time. Scott Greenwood races a Kaw 1000, not sure of the year though. It seems pretty fast as it goes by me...

I'm unclear on what you heard, but "on rails" means like a rollercoaster or a train, it will stay upright and predictable through the corners; a compliment pertaining to the bikes handling performance.

Another thing I like about this particular offering:
1.) no aftermarket bits, a clean slate if you will
2.) not the bright green color scheme typical of Kawasaki

    nice bike, looks clean

Re: FS: 2005 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

Hessogood and Legalspeed...I asked in a PM to a friend what Jay meant by "riding the rails"....he thought Jay's comment was about the "incident" that happened at the top of the moutain with Chuck's bike (following Chuck post's in this thread about said incident...) The bike almost got to ride the guard "rail"... a play with words.

But I see what it means now, thanks. Yes, it handles GREAT and has sick power....

Buying a BMW sport touring bike, next year. Financially also for now, it's wiser to sell it while value is still fairly good, rather than have it waste in the garage being barely ridden.

I'd seriously be interested, but I think it's probably way too much bike for me. Good luck.

Street experience is only a couple years, but I rode quite a bit on dirt since I was 17 (I'm 31 now).

V, I know that wasn't directed towards me. I also know that this bike has about twice the HP of my old F3. I don't mind a wheelie machine, but this thing is a land missile.

If you have a couple years of experience on F3, you'll be fine. Plus, you're mature enough to understand what the bike is capable of. I sat on it after riding 636, with a little bit of fear to do track days with it....but it's all good now, and I wouldn't go back. Power is addicting You just have to remember and keep your right hand in control.
P.S. you're right about the missile part
