    FS: 2005 ktm 125sx

This pains me to do, but I find myself in need of cash much more than a second dirty toy. Since acquiring it a few months ago it has barely been ridden, it has however been thoroughly cleaned and serviced, and lots of add-ons including a new front brake master, bled clutch slave cylinder, new levers, new shift lever, radiator guards, etc. This is the bike that came from Imbeek and before him Csmutty. It has had a lot of work put into it including a big bore kit, weighted fw, brand new legal fmf silencer, and provides a smile just starting it. Asking $2000 and that's basically what I paid plus a few hundred worth of work. Will also throw in a new fuel bottle already filled with premix, and any other goodies I have to go with it. If you want a good dirt bike and can't cart one around, I'll sell it with the new trailer / ramp / extras for $2500.
    Thanks for looking.
    -Bryan

Damn I wish it wasn't the holiday season but in the highly unlikely chance you still haven't sold this by the time I get my tax return (usually 1st week of February) then I will definitely buy it.

I'm only putting it up now due to unexpected expenses and don't like my savings to get too low. It could still be available then, but at that point the money might get used on something else.

I'd really like to get this thing moved. Fired it up yesterday and all is still well. Opening up to beat reasonable offer.
    Thanks

Are 125's too small (ergonomically speaking) for a bigger guy? I'm 6 feet , 185lbs..

I'm just about 6 feet, 265, and it moves me quicker than my 250 4t. It's quick. I've got a 30-31" inseam and can tip toe it around, my weight helps squish it down a bit, don't feel compressed or leaning forward. Almost has a mountain bike feel.

Is the rear wheel still a 19, or has it been converted to 18?

It's an 18. Was converted to a woods bike by the guy I bought it from with the fww, big bore, porting, etc

I think that vintage 125 is a classic looking bike.

    Re: FS: 2005 ktm 125sx

I have news for you boys... there has been a revolution as of late. My 250 XC-F is likely faster than an 05 450F. I'm still not sure how they have done that, but it's true. And the suspension is unreal. The bar has been seriously raised.

This 125 is only faster than my 250 cause it has the slower blue powerband

I think people make it too much about the bike now. If someone can rip they can rip on anything.

And right before I sold it I did a top end, reeds, and had the carb cleaned in an ultrasonic. So there's that too. I have another 125 now so I don't really miss it :p
    It was fast though.
