2006 Yamaha WR 250F For Sale or trade for a like valued Skidoo or Polaris. Street Registered and NH Titled.

Price Drop, $2000/BRO or Trade for Sled Only.

Approximately 40 hours on new top end, previous owner was a good friend of mine who had it professionally done. Grey Wire Mod, Airbox mod, JD Jet Kit, Accelerator Pump Mods for engine performance just like a YZ. Tires are relatively new MT16, 90% Front, 75% rear, suspension set for 185 lbs. LEXX exhaust, comes with stock exhaust as well. Extra plastics, extra subframe, Baja designs signal and road kit included as well, installed by previous owner. Lots more, I am sure I am forgetting stuff.

Oil changed every 3-5 rides based on hours. Newer brake pads and all protection gear has less than 10 hours on it.

Bar risers installed and tall foam seat with new cover installed as well.

I'm super anal about all my machines. Bought this for son, dumped a bunch of money into it, and he doesn't ride it at all.

Took it out of the garage today, warmed it up and took it out for a nice ride to clear it out.

Ready to go.

hmmmmmm........ XR needs a en engine rebuild. Maybe sell it as is and put the money I save in the rebuild and Money gained from selling it I could get this?

How does it compare to the Xr250r? Never rode a Wr250f.

I just bought a 2007 a month ago, and have been very happy with it. 2007 switched to the aluminum frame, but I believe it isn't that much different otherwise. I've not ridden an XR250R, but I suspect this bike is gonna be relevant to your interests. I also have a TTR250, which I think is fairly comparable to the XR250R, and I can say compared between the two Yamahas that the WR250F is basically version 2.0. Better suspension, more current geometry and ergonomics, better power.

Very forgiving Bike, like the XR. Better power delivery than the XR, and better suspension as well. And it has estart.

I went from an XR250 to one of these, and it was a big jump in technology.
