My new machine's got more guts than I can comfortably handle. I'm heading back to a nice heavy and slow TLR that I'm familiar with.

    Here's the link:

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

Yes Sir Ryan, going back to the TLR just like a number of folks suspected I would.

Currently, I am Absolutely sure I want to do this.

Actaully, I just came to an agreement on a Blue and White 2001 TL1000R a half hour or so ago.

Hell no ... those TL people are fickle bastidges ...

You are going to have to get a SV1K and join the good people.

    That didn't take long.

How did the low and midrange power compare to the TL? I love the mid on the TL, but the fuel system sucks from idle to about 3500rpm.

Contrast is the better word. It had more than the TL Motor obviously. 10 years of progress accomplishes things like that. It wasn't as fun to ride the ZX though. Something about the V-twin engine that is just plain more fun. If you take it to a dyno shop, you can clean up the low rpm quite a bit.

I'm actually surprised to hear it had more guts on the low and mid. I know the 10R's peak power is nearly half again what the TL produces, but didn't think the I4 had more low and mid too.
