Up for sale is my trusty Motocomm DSR-1003G helmet/bike mount camera setup. $120 plus shipping in the CONUS.
(I might be persuaded to ship to a Canuck if I need to. Obviously as a late Christmas present to avoid any unruly surcharges at the border. Gotta love Karma.)
Why am I getting rid of this? I got another camera from Motocomm and pretty much use that extensively now so its time to pass it along to another who is looking to get into filming their adventures like I did.
Heres a video I made using the DSR-100 for filming offroad.

Here's the skinny.
Great unit that retails for $350 brand new. You can the same unit on Ebay from anywhere between $250-$329. I paid the latter 3 years ago when I bought it, and haven't regretted the purchase.
I had problems with my original DSR-100 unit and was given the newer 3G model as a replacement. This unit is what you will be getting. Erik and the guys at Motocomm have never balked at any replacement for anything in the three years that I owned this product, so moving forward you need only contact them and they should hook you up pretty solid.
I also have an upgraded mic unit that has adjustable gain to play with, another little goodie for the new owner.
I have purchased a crushproof otter box to put the recorder and the self contained battery pack into my camel back so when I am riding offroad, I can crash and not worry about breaking the recorder. This is included in the sale price. Holes have been drilled at the closure to let the mic and camera cables pass through.
All other accessories are included in the original case, except for one mount. I can't seem to find the fairing mount anywhere since my trip to California, but I'm sure it will pop up. When it does, I'll send it along. I used two of the mounting tabs with Gorilla Velcro on my trip to Cali, mounted it on the top of my helmet without any issues. These tabs and velcro are still attached to the camera, but can be easily removed.
The camera mount needs to have a small screw and nut purchased from your local hardware store, I can't seem to find the screws for this as well. It might run you $.50 US for the replacements. I am also including an extra mount since I ran the camera system on both my on and offroad helmets.
Other than that, you'll need to purchase some self adhering velcro to replace the ones I used and also some Heavy Duty zip ties. Sorry, that's the only thing missing from the kit.
I hope someone wants to pick this up, great early season toy that can be used on much more than just motorcycles. (Mountain bikes, boarding/skiing, etc.).
$120 plus shipping everyone. Paypal only please. The shipping WILL include insurance to protect both of us in case of issues with the mail. Pickup also available.
Thanks for checking out my stuff.
Cheers!
