Good thing I passed. I picked up a set today and needed the X-Large size.

The ones I got say Waterproof Liner. But then they say to "apply a waterproofing agent to the outside".




Not to threadjack, but anyone know where to pick up this mysterious waterproofing agent?

I would say try any silicone based spray, like for shoes or possibly tents

But you so could have rock mine fingerless

There is a waterproofing spray that I know of...can't remember the name of it at the moment....but I know Hudson Cycle Center has cans of it. Supposed to be real good stuff....never tried it myself.

+1 on the tent spray...maybe try EMS?

I have those gloves...work great. But, even thought they claim to be, no way could you consider them waterproof! I have sprayed the chit out of them with every spray known but, when it rains hard your hands will stay warm...but wet. Aerostitch does make some waterproof over gloves that look like them might work.
