Honda Hawk race bike. Yes, you've seen it before.
From a previous owner:
From me:clean, straight frame. The suspension has 10 laps since a full rebuild. GMD rebuilt the suspension, not sure what springs are in it but I'm 180 and the forks are great, fox shock has a 1400# spring. 04 cbr 600rr front end with braided lines, aftermarket rotors, radial master, clipons, motion pro clutch perch and short turn throttle. Small digial temp guage (needs to be plugged back in) and tapered roller bearings. Frame, swingarm, subframe are clean and powder coated black.
Custom converted yzf radiator made by BTT (he moved the inlets and added mounting tabs). Carbs are bell mouth ported and jetted with unipods.
A custom made by Gino harness wire harness handles the electrics and it runs a 7series battery. Vortex gas cap, Hyperform subframe and tail, tail has a couple cracks but looks fine there small and on the under side. 2bros high mount exhaust, has some scrached but the dented parts where removed and repairs by drew the welds are clean. Brand new tyga rearsets, gp shift via dirtbike shift lever with foldable peg. Swingarm has a through the swinger braided line, aluminum rear rotor, rear res delete. Vfr wheel conversion with a 5" vfr 5 spoke. 520 chain and sprockets. Comes with a spare set of wheel with stock rotors and shitty rains mounted. Also come with race stands and warmers.
7000miles on stock motor. Total loss system
- Carbs were cleaned in May (?) by Johnny Linn.
- "new" starter installed in May
- Last fired up in August (?) by Mr. ROTY himself, Adam Butler. At that time we determined the battery was toast; I have a new battery charged and waiting for install.
- Full bodywork is included, but admittedly it's kinda ugly IMO.
- Also have a brand new RS125 tail section (uninstalled, BNIB) that I could throw in for the right price; otherwise I'll just return it.
- Currently is gravity-fed, but I have a used Mikuni fuel pump waiting to be installed.
$2000. If you can find me a buyer for any more than that, I'll give you the difference.
This bike has been moved from north of Boston, to my garage, to my van, gone for several walks at Loudon, Granville NY, Meriden and/or West Haven, back to my garage, since January. I'm now doing dual duty at work for the rest of the year; once I relinquish one job during the day it will be tax season at night, and then race season. If I just dedicated one weekend (or hell, one day) to the bike, she'd be ready for the track...really just needs a once-over...but I'm not hopeful that will happen. So rather than seeing her sit, she's up for sale.
