Wanted: Inexpensive 1-2BR Apartment in Dover

I have a friend that's looking for a place in Dover, NH. We've looked at the papers and online and found some decent stuff, but I know the best deals are often word of mouth and get picked up before anyone bothers paying the paper for a listing or taking pictures and getting them on a website. If you know of anything I'd appreciate it if you let me know. They (her and her young daughter) will be quiet respectful tenants, just looking for an inexpensive place.

what is inexpensive for one may be "normal" for another, what price range are they hoping to stay in?

It depends on the place. We've found quite a few nice 1BRs for 650-700, with the least expensive half-decent one being 610, and 2BRs starting @ 800. I don't think she wants to go too much over 800. I've seen 2BRs for 600-650 with signs in the windows, but that stuff never seems to be advertised. I'll talk to her again and see if she has a definite price cap, but it seemed pretty open. She was interested in 2 last night, 1 being the 1BR for 610 and the other being a 2BR for 830.

my brother lives in those apts behind blockbuster at the "weeks nightmare" intersection. IDK what the price is. nice place. 2bdr 2 bath (i think) lots of room, close to freeway, food, grocery, downtown.

there is also an apt complex behind the market bucket in Somersworth on the way to wally world.

Thanks for the tip. I think anyplace with multiple baths is going to be more than she wants to spend, but I'll swing by to see the name of the place and check if they have a website or fliers at a main office or anything.

my inlaws live in them apartments, there on the ground floor, 2 bedroom for 800, that includes heat
