I thought of that of course but why not just return it. One usually buys a expensive piece like that from a you know a reputable store...........

Asking why it can't be returned to the original seller is perfectly fine, but we ask that you please be careful with your phrasing. Insinuating that an item was not purchased from a reputable store could be construed as trashing a FS ad which is against forum rules.

Watch was purchased used. Retail on it new last year was $3k. My girl bought it on eBay from a seller that has a 14 day return policy. We are outside the 14 days.

Yeah that's what I don't get.... why someone would buy a $1500 fashion item on the thought that the person receiving it might like it. I would be damn sure it's what she wants and that she wants it really really really bad.

Then again, I always opted to give my mom coupon books for favors or chores, even as I got older. I really miss being able to make her day like that.
