    M10 Snowmobile rear skid

Aftermarket rear suspension for almost any snowmobile, with the correct adapter plate. Definite upgrade. This one was on a 2003 Rev 600. About 500 miles on it before I sold the sled.

On CL for $400, NESR price $300

I honestly don't care if someone buys it and flips it to make a few bucks. I have no use for it, and really just want it gone.

It cost me over $1000 brand new. I think it was around 1400, but I can't honestly remember the number. Worth it though.

I've got one of these and they're great. They can really transform a snowmobile with a lacking rear suspension.

What is that front shock? Mine has a Fox coil over up there.

Not sure what the front shock is. It's pretty much the base model for the year I bought it. You're right though, it can transform a sled. Even my Rev, which had pretty good rear suspension, was night and day different with this M10. They work really well on Cat ZR models. A couple of my friends had them in theirs (one ZR600 and one ZR800) and they loved them.

I put one in a Polaris that had Xtra12 and it worked great in that too.

Did you put the old suspension back in the Rev?

    Re: M10 Snowmobile rear skid

I actually sold the Rev to a friend of mine and the deal was I would get the track (1.5 Ripsaw) and the M10. He wanted to put a 1.25 IceRipper on it and the stock suspension. I don't blame him, the M10 in the Rev almost gave it too much ski pressure. Of course I also had way too much carbide..... thing was like a go kart on my local trails, but he rode mostly in northern NH/VT where you don't need quite as much front end bite.

Rough idea what year that was? Also just realized you're not that far away from me.

I'm almost positive I bought it around February 2009. And no, you're not too far away. I probably have ridden over near you, as we used to do most of our riding in Vermont.
