Well.. I have the tank filled with propane.. so if its LP, it has the converter. So either way you should be good. (I had it all professionally installed - you DONT want this IT geek trying to install stuff... :-)

LOL, you would find the model number on an automated back-up dive.

    Looks good...
So it's set up for propane now?
We have Nat. Gas. Anyone know what the skinny is on converting one?

I don't know 100%.. but i recall two of the appliances I bought were nat gas appliances and i needed converters.... I know the stove was one and i *think* the drier was the other cuz I actually had to buy the converter. If that's the case, just take the converter off and you'd be in luck. I'll check that model out a bit more and see if I can't PM you the details on the model.

    Yes...

It's a matter of changing an orifice on the burner. Super easy shit. If whoever did the propane conversion was smart, then the orifice for natural gas is in a tiny manila envelope secured to the back of the dryer or with the owner's manual packet.

Pssssttt... FlyinGSXR... You're looking for a tiny brass "nut" looking thing. It's threaded and has a small hole through it.

Re: Matching H/E Front Load Washer & Dryer (Black)

I'm 99% sure the dryer is natural gas and I had to have a propane converter on it cuz I remember the stove came with it and they charged me like $10 for the other appliance (and this is the only other appliance i bought from this store). Sucks becuase I dont live there anymore so I can't get my hands on it.. but i do know this.. Lowes sells the conversion kits for dirt cheap!

    I'll update asap

The dryer came from the factory, set up to run on natural gas. The orifice that controls the flow of natural gas to the flame was removed and another, more restrictive, orifice to control LP was installed. It's just a matter of unthreading a tiny brass thing and threading a different one into the hole. It's not as if an additional piece of equipment was installed to make it work for LP, that can now be removed and it will run NG. Not that kind of party. The unit came with the orifice for NG. Lowes does not sell this as an accessory since its what comes in every gas appliance. If you don't have it, it will need to be ordered from Frigidaire before the dryer can be operated on natural gas.
