Shit, I knew about that one for sale, I didn't see this thread that you were looking for one though. I could have gotten it to NHMS for you for the next race weekend too probably.

    Revisiting this thread.

I have decided I am going to build one.

    Option #1
    http://www.bbcracing.com/old/box/

    Pro: Portable
Con: I am not convinced it will be sturdy enough.

    Option #2
Something that looks like this (still looking for plans)

Use these, they sell them at home depot for $4.95 each to save on shipping.

They are rock solid, work, easy to use and hold for ever. Make sure you brace the deck every 10 inches with some joist hangers or just screws through and you'll be fine.

NESR Racing used those wooden box stands back in the day, they worked really well. Very sturdy and I believe they put grip tape strips on top for the stands. No Idea who made them from the team but we used them all season.

Gordon (scootertrash) made those. I'm still kickin' myself for NOT grabbing one and making away with it. And I still wanna make one. Totally slick, totally portable...

doc, 3/4" plywood would be fine... but IMO, you're going to want more than a 24" top if you plan on working on the bike while it's up there.

My father and I built this one out of steel.
It's a bit overkill, but you could park a bus on the thing.
