I got a jack for sale from craftsman. It is on the 4 sale thread. I am going to make a table soon for the TZ. I looked at homemades and a powerstand to get ideas. I want it to be folding too. I fiqure a couple hundred in materials could make a nice one. Less if you use used scrap iron. I wish I had a happy homeowner welder. Light duty to take to the track too.

I went for the Harborfreight lift, too. Made well, works well. Sometimes they have it on sale at $299. Now that I think about it, check the back pages of August 2009 CW, see coupon for the lift at $299.

I paid around $65 freight from Harborfreight earlier this year, when the catalog had the lift at $299. So, something like $365 delivered to the doorstep, EZ uncrate, no damage, just a few minutes to put the casters on, pumped it up and rolled it into the garage. I think if you poke around their site you'll find a link for estimating freight.

(nedoc guys had encouraged (berated) me to buy local (to them) in Plaistow or someplace, but that would have meant borrowing or renting a truck, driving, loading/unloading, etc.)

There's a store in Woostah (MA), but if the freight is only about $65 then it's definitely better to have it shipped than picking one up there. I'm hoping to get one too while they're $299. I might be able bring one up to NHMS for a TTD or race weekend depending on how big they are in the box if that helps at all.
