Moving Clean Out (Some Motorcycle Related)

I'm off to the west coast, San Francisco to be exact, and need to purge. Some stuff is motorcycle related, others are not. I'll keep the first post updated as things are added and removed. I'll also try to keep photos as links to not clutter up the thread.

Will ship all the small stuff for $5-15 based on size. Larger stuff will need to be picked up. Everything is located in Boston. I'm home until mid-January and can be flexible with viewing and pick-up times.

    1) Alpinestars Bionic Back Protector, size medium - $25
Works as it should, nothing special.

    2) Alpinestars SMX Plus, size 44 - $75
Soles are pretty worn and missing one toe slider as shown in photos. Priced accordingly.

    3) Held Phantoms, size 9 - $50
Small tear in seam on palm of one glove. Priced accordingly.

    4) Suomy Vandal (Atlantic City Graphics), size medium - $50
    MFG Date is October 2011
Comes with smoked shield only with some slight scuffs (hard to capture in photos)
    Comes with helmet eject system
This was my old race helmet. I went down in it a few times but never hit my noggin.
This is a remarkably light helmet. I wish they still made it. Recommend Earplugs while using, but that is the case for all helmets.

Well, that didn't go as planned...assuming those links don't work. Let me take a minute to host these elsewhere.

Bringing 4, selling two (fixed gear commuter and race bike), and keeping one in Boston. If there is anything else you may have seen at my house and are interested in, let me know!

Pics are fixed, let me know what you think. I've ridden with them with the tear, but eventually replaced them because I wanted something new. I would trust them in a crash. If you landed palms down, the tear would likely just get bigger. After that I would re-asses.

Eeeeee its potentially sitting with its new owner. I put it away broke. Its being diagnosed and hopefully purchased.

It wasn't coming with me. I'd rather a friend have it and use it then it sit broken in my dad's garage. Also, its a 12 year old bike. I needed something to force my hand for something newer anyway. I'm keeping my current line of gear though, just in case.

Once I feel out living/storage, I'll consider something new.
I love riding motorcycles, don't get me wrong. But riding with/for TTD and the people that go with it is more important. The thought of being a customer somewhere else just doesn't do it for me quite as much as what I had going here.

If I get the urge, a street RC390 may be my best bet for track/life with lane splitting.

Its a cool setup but has its limitations. Its awesome for a hike up a smooth trail (like the tuckerman ravine trail or up a skip slope before the lifts are running). You carry a board of your choice on your back, then fold up the skis and store them in the bag for the ride down. However, this setup is not good for off trail trekking/mountaineering. Carrying a board on your back is hard in these conditions, and if you stress the skis too much on an un smooth trail the hinges can break, which is why I always carried spares.

However, this setup is basically unobtanium. There is nothing on the market. If I hadn't repaired it as such, I would be asking a whole lot more.

Keeping both. Renting the house, bringing the sprinter. I think I’ll be back in a few years. I know, I know, that’s what they all say.
