SOLD
1996 Ford E350 Ambulance
85,XXX miles
7.3 Liter Turbocharged Diesel
- New upper and lower ball joints (2011)
- New brakes f&r (2011)
- 4 new rear tires & 1 new front tire (2009)
- New Glow Plugs (2009)
- Class V Tow Hitch w/ wiring
- Brand new brake controller for the trailer (not installed currently)
- 2 New Batteries (2009)
Tow a trailer or just stuff two bikes in the box and go racing. Queen sized air mattress fits nicely in the back and keeps the hotel bills down on those long race weekends while still allowing use of the jump seat for gearing up, etc.
The ambulance is equipped with a block heater, shore plug (plug it in to the wall and now you have AC power in the ambulance), scene lights (left, right and rear), Hella fog lights, heavy duty load manager, etc. This is a true ambulance so there is a lot of internal and external storage cabinets, separate heat and AC controls for the front and rear areas.
Along with the items specified above, it has the usual amenities: Dual batteries, massive alternator, power steering, ABS, cruise control, am/fm radio, internal dual setting dome lights, etc...
Rig is located in Goffstown, NH and is registered/inspected.
$4,500 or best offer.
Additional pictures available upon request.

This is so AWESOME! and the price is right too! GLWS
The best thing about these things is that they are long life vehicles. They are built to last and not rust out like our street rides.
How long have you had this thing Fitz? I know I have seen it for sale before, was that you?

What would insurance cost for something like that in MA?
More than $50. Seriously though, these things are awesome, the storage is a dream and they go forever. Glws.

Shrug. I'd entertain the idea. Send over a picture of the trailer.
Bought it in 2007-08 from Pa Tansey with ~78k on the odometer. Bill Tansey ran it's twin for a couple of years at the track as well. I put it up for sale when I wasn't sure if I'd ever race bikes again and needed to raise cash for medical bills. I was asking a fair amount for it and with the economy the way it is, it didn't move. How long have you had this thing Fitz? I know I have seen if for sale before, was that you?
The rig was still used monthly through 2009-2010 to get a friend's bike to Loudon for racing so you may have seen it up there a bunch. Fast forward to 2011: I haven't raced in two years and am unsure if I'll physically be able to moving forward.
Aside from monthly trips to NHMS and the occasional trip to Home Depot for lumber, I've kept the mileage off her.
She'll be going in to the shop this week for her pre-winter checkup, oil change etc.
Fitz
What does she get for mileage?
Bill Cool --- CRA EX #47 --- 2023 NEMRR GTO Champion, 2020-21 LRRS LWSS Champion --- RSP Racing / TTD / MTAG-Pirelli / Woodcraft / Sportbike Track Gear / Seacoast Sport Cycle
After some quick research a bit under 20 I think?
Mileage is 18-22 depending on how she's driven and how much you're pressing on the skinny pedal.

I'm kinda diggin this. Just interested to know if this needs anything or if its good to go
Man, if only I had someplace to park this I would be all over it.
Sav buy this thing!!!!!
Sweet rig! But I would clean the heck out of the back of that thing. I work in the EMS service and you really don't want to know what happens in the back of those things..... Get the steam pressure washer and spray her down. Great rig for a race weekend, that motor will last forever!
