Funny thing about the English language... you can write something, know the implied meaning and how it will be taken, without actually saying it, therefore covering your ass.

Do you think anyone read that one line and DIDN'T think that he was implying he was the original owner and purchased the bike at that price?

I'm curious, Io-Bot stated that the bike was purchased by Ray a year and a half ago via Ebay from someone in Hawaii. However..... over on the 'Vette forum, it was offered up as a trade towards a ZO6 with the following description:

In addition I have an INCREDIBLE LIKE NEW 2007 Aprilia RSV Mille R 1000 Factory with 3,700 miles on it. Paid $17,900 new in 2008. This is an amazing cycle with upgrades that make it ready for the street or the track. Be sure to do your homework on this bike!"

I am not a dealer or flipper. I bought this bike in Sept. 2010. I am an experienced rider but quickly realized that the bike was too much for me. I am 5'5" tall and weigh 150lbs. Just backing it out of the garage makes me nervous because I am so short.

I live in MA so I winterized it and put it away. This Spring I pulled it out and had it fully serviced. I just recently started riding it again because it ws killing me seeing it sit. I am actually getting comfortable on it. If it sells, great...if not I will keep it. It is an incredible machine to look at and to ride.

My post have been in the for sale section because I am trying to sell the bike?

I am not sure why people keep flagging my ad. I buy and sell bikes. I am a straight up guy. That is why I put it in the dealers section. I really don’t understand why someone is busting my balls. I wish they would email me direct but they don’t have the balls. Flaggers are cowards who wish they could afford a machine like this.

As far as the bike goes, It is a real bike, it is in my garage in Fall River on a battery tender and was fully serviced at the dealer last week. It is an INCREDIBLE machine. You should have seen the guys at the dealership.

I have bought and sold many Aprilias and this one is the nicest. It has top of the line everything.

if the title is not dated then there will be no issues with the 30day rule in MA, date it yourself..alot of people here have done that.

Just did a little research on Apriliaforum. Many /aprilias for sale by him. One posting seemed to be a high jacked bike from a neighboring town, He also edited sale posting's dating back to 2010 on Jan. 30 2012. hum.........

I'm debating posting his phone numbers, email, home address, business names and numbers all over the Internet to play the game I sure wouldn't condone anyone to miss use this public information...

You really did us all a service by calling into question some of the details of this offering by him. So kudos to you. I give you a LOT of credit because you just stated the facts and he had the opportunity to comment on anything he'd posted or said. The fact that he pulled a bunch of posts on several different forums speaks volumes.

As they say in the Army "What goes around, comes around." If I were him, the very last thing I would be doing is further alienating this community.
