    For you non-motorized motorcycle people:

I have a few of these boxes, brand new, never used, still in their original packaging. Good for transporting your bikes on planes and stuff.

    Re: QBicle Bike Porter Box

I have no plans to take my bike on an aircraft any time in the near future, yet I find myself trying to justify why I need one of these.

Yo dawg, we heard you like boxes. So we put a box in your box, so you can box while you box.

Its a pretty cool product. I'll try not to muddy this thread up, but flying your bikes suck and I do it all the time with much more expensive soft cased bags.

The cheapest option is to go to a dumpster behind a bike shop and get one of their cardboard boxes that new bikes come in. They are much smaller and require complete dissasembly of your bike, all the way down to removing the crankset and fork. This also disitegrates when wet. A bike shop normally offers packing and unpacking as a service for ~$50-100 each. The nicer, more advanced bikes (think hydraulic disc brakes) may cost more.

This larger box being sold here is a better option because you only have to dissasemble the easier parts of your bike (bars, seat, pedals, wheels) and you can leave the crankset and fork on. This offering also seems to be made of materials more sturdy than cardboard and folds down nicely.

Think a 29er full squish mountain bike would fit in this? If so I may be interested in two of them.

No idea, but I could bring a couple to the first track day and you can try them out.

One of those, but without the wheels. Has it's two keys and the original tag on it still. Has a hard plastic divider inside to keep the wheels apart.
