    RB25 S13 240sx (Skyline power)

Decided to put this up on here since if it sells I'll be looking for a dedicated track bike. Open to bike trades or bike trades + cash.

1990 Nissan 240SX Hatchback (clean+clear title in hand)
Series 2 RB25DET motor and transmission from a R33 Skyline (low mile- around 40k right now)
    - Apexi power intake
    - big intercooler and charge pipes
    - full 3" exhaust turbo-back with Buddy Club spec ii cat back
    - Centerforce clutch
    - Greddy kevlar timing belt
    - Nismo N1 water pump, Nismo adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator, Walbro fuel pump
    - Koyo radiator + aluminum reservoir tank

    Shell has approximately 135k miles
    - Tein coil-overs all around
    - Tein inner/outer tie rods
    - Isis tension rods
    - interior is gutted
    - Bride type driver bucket
    - Reclinable Nismo passenger seat
    - Kenwood headunit/ipod hook up + 2 Xplod speakers
    - Greddy shift knob and short shift kit from Japan

    Other Stuff:
    - Rota staggered wheels P45R 18x9.5 in the back and P45F 18x8.5 in the front
    - Slotted front brake discs, R33 skyline brakes all around (5 lug)
    - The rear k-subframe is also swapped from a R33 skyline- including axles and VLSD (it's the same as an S14 rear subframe). Basically the entire drive train is out of a R33 skyline (minus the custom driveshaft).

    Potentially "bad":
    - No PS, heat, A/C
    - Reverse lights don't work

So the swap includes the usual motor/transmission, as well as rear subframe and components, as well as brakes, and the gauge cluster inside. The car weighs around 2600lbs and puts down around 250 to the wheels (300 at the crank). Previous owner ran a 12.3 with stock rear suspension, slicks, and 9-10psi. The motor has been running stock boost (7psi) since I've owned it. Right now it spins through first and second, and it'll spin through third if it's moist. The sound of the car is absolutely ridiculous, aside from the amazing skyline inline-6 tunes, it'll pop/gurgle during normal shifts and literally blast flames during harder/higher rpm shifts. The exhaust is essentially a straight pipe with nothing but a resonator- sounds like a small block V8 at idle and very smooth/deep under accel. No raspy/crappy stuff, this thing sounds serious.

Overall it's bullet proof. I've changed all fluids and maintained it very well. It DOESN'T HAVE A/C, HEATING, or POWER STEERING- so it's not for the faint of heart. I did daily drive it in the summer and I was too busy having a great time to even care about those things, but most people shouldn't consider using this as a daily driver. Right now it needs nothing, the body isn't show-car status- it has drips in the paint and chips in the front bumper, but from 10 feet away it's stunning. I sealed the hatch from the water leaks it used to have, but it still drips a tiny bit. I keep it covered, and I would pass-on the cover to the next owner. It's a common issue, this one drips almost nothing- and it's completely stripped so no fabric or crap to hide/absorb the water- it generally just goes out the spare wheel vent hole. Overall it's NOT a project, I'm using it as a "daily driver" right now- but I don't drive that much. The RB25 swap is very well done and overall a clean job and it's 100% complete.

    History of the car:
Previous owner did the swap and drove it rarely (his daily was an STi), I bought it around June of this year in Maryland and drove it down to Atlanta where I was staying. I did a bunch of stuff to "finish" it off to my liking, this includes: new seats, interior components (center console, head unit, speakers, etc.), timing belt/water pump/ etc., had the hand brake fixed (PITA due to the swapped sub frame), new front coils + tie rods + traction rods + dialing it all in (corner balancing, etc.), and regularly changing the fluids (has had engine oil changed twice, and had new transmission oil put in for the colder temps, and new diff oil). I then drove it up from Atlanta to Boston where it is now.

Not desperate to sell, and I'll consider trades but cash is always best. I'm particularly interested in a track set-up motorcycle plus cash, but will consider almost anything. Keeping the car is a serious option I'm considering, so again I'm in no rush or need to get rid of the car. Just want to see if I could get some cash now, or what else is out there...

Asking $8k OBO. Cash or trades+cash preferred, but all trades welcome.

PM is the best way to contact me.

    Pics:

The only other shot of the engine bay is from right after a run at a drift event (the only one I was able to make with the car), and the turbo is still glowing:

    Re: RB25 S13 240sx (Skyline power)

Thanks for the comments guys... don't have any video footage of the event, but I have a video of it on a small stretch of backroad- taking it pretty easy. It's on a website I made for a class (www.vid-it.com) under the "Examples" tab.

Ned- if it doesn't sell I plan on hitting up as many drift and autocross events as possible. Maybe a NH track day- only if they're cheaper for cars than bikes!

I've never done a day at NHMS in a car, generally wide open parking lots and some cones are enough for me when I'm in a cage.

Forget NHMS, Limerock is where the fun is on 4 wheels. for drifting I'd seriously look into monticello...

Good luck with the sale of your automobile.
