Remington 597 .22LR Scoped Plinker Rifle

Need to make room in the safe. Added a sling stud to the front of the stock so I could attach/detach a bipod. Otherwise stock.

I have 3 mags for this thing, but they got wet, so there is surface corrosion on them (pictured). I will include them and you can clean them up, but also you may want to just buy a new one, they're like 10 bucks. They'll work fine for first shot but may fail to feed intermittently on subsequent shots.

For an affordable little rifle it shot tight groups at 100 yards, especially with good ammo (CCI mini mags).

$130 via FA-10 F2F transfer. Will require licensed purchaser, following all local laws and regs. Copy paste of statement we use on the shooting forum...

What is the glass on this? I assume this is the standard package rifle/scope and the scope is a private label from one of the finer Chinese manufacturers?

It's a long gun, basically you'd want to do an FFL transfer at a shop in the buyer's home state. Or as you suggested, through two shops, one in each state, since I don't desire to drive to CT to sell a gun at this price point. You cannot do it at a shop in MA because it's illegal for a shop to transfer a weapon to a non-resident in MA, even if that non-resident has a MA non-resident permit. LOL because MA.

Yeah whatever came with it. It's a 3-9x I believe. Like I said, thing shot pretty tight groups at 100yd at this price point. I enjoyed shooting it.

You can take possession of long guns in other states than your own.
He could buy it and do paperwork at a Ma ffl.
Handguns must be transferred in the buyers home state.
