Selling my S1000RR.
Red/White/Blue
Anyone reading this knows what it is, 3600 miles, swingarm spools (never been lifted though) and Tech Spec tank grips. New Michelin Pilot Pures with less than 200 miles on them. DTC/ABS/Slipper Clutch and QSA.
Never down at all whatsoever. Only defect is the passenger pegs paint is rubbing off a little from my girlfriends shoes rubbing, cheap paint I suppose, rather annoying. But take them off and the bike is flawless.
Asking $15.3k or best reasonable offer. Bike does have a lien through BMW USA so I'm not sure how that would work with transferring everything, never sold a vehicle with a lien still on it. Can't be that difficult. I'd also consider someone taking the payments PLUS a well prepped trackbike like a cbr1000

Depending on a few variables, it's typically a matter of you authorizing payoff via bank-issued signed document then the buyer (or their bank) waiting for the title to show up before it can be road registered. Not a big deal, just takes some document signing and a little time depending on how quick your bank sends and processes the paperwork.
I actually had a loan through BMW on my Triumph when I sold it. They are fairly easy to work with and depending on how the buyer intends to purchase it, it can be VERY easy.
The person I sold my bike to decided that they too would finance through BMW. With that being the case, it was a matter of BMW sending us a bunch of sale documents, us meeting up and signing them with a notary, settle any monetary difference outside of the existing loan amount between the two of you and BAM, bike is in the new owners name. They handle changing the name on the title, etc.
Good info, thanks guys. I definitely appreciate that input. That will certainly help me and make it easier.![]()
I'll trade you two 2004 aprilia rsvr factorys, one a race bike, the other a street bike, plus all my spare parts.
I test rode an s1000 at Second Wind last night.
^ I'm trying. Anyway, that's a great bike you have up for sale. I really liked the way the bike felt, handling/brakes/engine/ergonomics are all up to par. Superfuckingfastbike. Not sure about that high beam switch though.
I kinda like the high beam switch! lol That's what sold me on it, that and the cup holder. I'm a huge twin fan BTW. Got a beater 02 RC51 I've owned since new. So yea, I could easily be persuaded to sell plus a twin track bike.
I'll trade you all my Star Wars action figures. Except Boba Fett.
Friends don't let friends wave to Can Ams
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Oh, oh... I get it. You want to sell the bimmer and buy my F4i
Seriously people, this thing is awesome... most ridiculously balanced, easy to ride, sick looking 1k I've seen.
Here are some pictures of the actual bike from a recent ride:

dan WTF!
Ya know Nate, when you put pictures like that up I wanna kill myself....
I don't neeeeeeeeeeeeeed to sell it. But with trying to save for a house, work not being terribly consistent, and wanting to save up in general, it's the smart thing. I can say I owned the 2010 MOTY, one of the most powerful and fastest bikes ever made and be happy. Then I can either make the 51 a great track tool or buy a prepped trackbike because that's where I have more fun.
Sorry man, only trades I'd consider are a track/race bike on top of the lien takeover.
$15,000 Fall Season Sale price. That's actually the lowest number I'll take, in case anyone was wondering. Otherwise it'll be there for me to ride in spring![]()
I thought these bikes were supposed to be 12 or 13 new?
I ride a custom fighter!
HA! Maybe a cheap chinese knockoff lol
Isn't it like 17+ with all the options?
Almost 17k exactly, actually. I'm in no particular rush to get rid of it. If I don't end up selling it, I'll keep it and enjoy it next year. Hell, I might even throw an Ohlins on the rear and re-do the front suspension for my weight, and upgrade the brakes to a Brembo MC and better pads. But I'm saving for a house and well *AHEM COUGH* a ring.....and one less toy helps with all that.
Just don't get married, and buy a track bike instead of a ring.
I'll take a Big Gulp as payment for that awesome life counseling.
And that, may possibly be the 1st official offer to receive beef injection, ever posted on NESR!!I'll take a Big Gulp as payment
