There are no laser detectors made that can detect laser before it hits the vehicle.

That would be like trying to detect sound before the sound gets to the detection device.

the unit is in perfect working order, and has saved me a ticket or two, where the leo was targeting cars ahead of my around blind corners.
Its not perfect, if the leo is not targeting vehicles ahead of you, and only pulls the trigger on you, there is no device aside of a jammer, that will work for you.
though the jammer, I am sure will be cause to get pulled over.

Yes! it works perfectly as it should as it were new.
No mount is included, you would have to supply your own mount.
I have one I am using it for other items, and the unit did not come with a mount from the manufacturer.
