i believe it doesnt. the previous owner was going to do a frame swap to register the bike, but gave up on the project. nate bought it & built it into a really nice track bike.

Ya I have one of those really nice track bikes already. I have seen the bike. I also have a 02 yz 125 that might be up for trade so Im just seeing what I might be getting into. Not sure if I need another race bike but it might not be a bad thing.

I KNOW OF A TITLE SERVICE THAT GIVES YOU A TITLE IN YOUR OWN NAME IN UTAH WHEN THE BIKE COMES UP CLEAN... I KNOW IT WORKS CUZ IVE USED THEM FOR MY OWN VINTAGE BIKE... JUST TAKE A PIC OF THE VIN AND SEND IT AND HE DOES ALL THE LEGWORK FOR YOU.. I DISTRIBUTE FOR HIM SO HIT ME UP IF NEED BE,

Ehh there are tons of places that do that. All it does is use the laws in that state to get a title and then the bike is sold back to you using the title, which you register it with.

not shady at all. he literally presents the vin to the powers at be to show that the bike isnt stolen, then goes to the registry to actually get the bike titled in YOUR own name .. "selling it back ".. its completely legit as csmutty said, its just how some states are . Utah allows this.. im just proof that it works.. he says he can do anything. no matter the year. new stuff just takes a bit longer..
