    Soapstone Wood Stove

Location; Mt Sunapee NH. We have a Hearthstone Tribute model 8040 soapstone wood stove for sale. It is rated to heat up to 1,300 square feet - 36,000 BTU.

This was the smallest soapstone stove Hearthstone (Morrisville, VT) made. We purchased it new in 2014. We replaced it with a larger Hearthstone stove in 2017 and put it in the garage. It now shows some light corrosion that on the cast iron that should burn off as soon as itís put back in use.

This stove has the optional rear heat shield so it can be mounted closer to walls.

    Firebox Capacity: 1.2 cubic feet
    Height 25-1/2" (65 cm)
    Width 24" (61 cm) Depth 18" (45.7 cm)
    Door Size: 9.5" high x 12-3/4" wide.
Stovepipe Size: 6" (152 mm) diameter.
    No catalytic converter.
Soapstone holds a lot of heat. The stoves warm up slowly, and stay hot for hours. So they are great for living spaces.

For reference this stove was $2,000 plus the heat shield. Asking $490 or best offer. Can be seen by appointment at Mount Sunapee, NH.

NOTE: it weighs 330 lbs. We have a jack and tractor to help load it.
