SV650 Supersport legal front end upgrade

Selling the custom cartridge forks(F3 cartridge internals custom machined for SV lowers) which allow external rebound adjustment. Next step upgrade from emulator drop ins, any of the racers here who have experienced both can tell you that cartridge forks are a HUGE upgrade to the SV front end. Also, these are legal for Supersport race classes, which popular GSXR swaps are NOT.

Also including Braking wave rotors and a Brembo 16x18 master cylinder(NOT an OEM master from some other bike). This upgrade package carried me from a best of a one-time never touch it again 22.xxx lap to consistent 21's in one weekend last season.

$1000 for the whole setup, I'll box and ship if needed but the buyer will have to pay for shipping. I'm not looking to part this setup out yet, if I do, it'll likely go to eBay.

Pics are on bike, parts will be off bike and ready to go to a new home on Saturday night.

This stuff is off a 2nd gen.

The master would, of course, fit anything. I'm not sure if the rotors or forks would also fit a first gen SV.

Excellent set-up. GMD built a similar config for me but it's not compression adjustable from the outside.

Master, of course. Forks, maybe? The tubes should fit in the tripples, but the length might be wrong. Rotors, absolutely not... but let me quantify that statemtnt.

No, you can not take gen 2 rotors and bolt them onto a gen 1 wheel and have them work with gen 1 calipers. They are spaced totally different. Notice that your gen2 rotors and carriers are flat? Gen 1 rotor carriers are dished. The rotor sits out about an inch from where the carrier bolts/mounts to the wheel.

Now... if someone were to be able to mount these gen2 forks into their gen 1 tripples, they would also need to use the gen2 wheel, calipers, and rotors. Basically... you can't just use the fork legs on your gen1 because nothing else would be even close to working.

First thing I would do is measure the distance between the holes in the upper tripple of both bikes. If that distance is the same between a gen1 and a gen2... You might have a chance. If it's not, the whole deal is boogered and it will never work without a TON of fabrication.

I do have a pair of gen 2 calipers I could include if someone were trying to make this fit their first gen.

The bike itself isn't ready for sale yet, but once it is, if the three people who have expressed interest don't buy it, I will post a for sale thread.

Original post updated to reflect that rebound is externally adjustable, not compression.

Master cylinder was sold separately, so this is down to $800 for the cartridge forks and wave rotors.
