I thin cast needs a different filler. I could look into it.

I don't think you could weld it, i've done a bit of welding before...well you can weld it but then you would have to re-drill the drain-plug hole and by then, I don't think I would trust it on the track, unless it was tig, well I don't know, I wish i could take a pic. to show you.

It's a metric set of threads in the hole, right?
Pull it off the bike, clean it, TIG it, re-tap the hole, melt knee pucks.
