    Tire changing machine and balancer

Upgrading my tire machine now that I'm doing tons of tires.

it has some wear, but still works very very well. if you are picky, all and any parts can be bought from the manufacturer for this machine.

It is the No-Mar tire changer seen here

As you can see, it retails for $595 (plus another $70 or so shipping). The static balancer is another $100. I'm asking $450 for the whole deal.

A few people here have seen the setup and it works really well once you know what you are doing with it.

hmmmm, I'd love to, but I think it's well priced right now. sorry. Time will tell, if it doesn't sell, I might reconsider price, but I'm a stubborn bastard and I'm apt to keep things instead of selling them cheaper than I want to :-)

I'm thinking this could be a nice thing to have at the track on race weekends. Is it easy enough to lug around?

Prolly not TOO heavy, but I think it'd need to be bolted down...

You can buy a trailer hitch attachment for it for cheap money (from the people who make the tire changer). Right now, it is bolted down in my garage.

Trailer hitch thing is cool but I'd probably just drill some holes in the trailer floor and use t-nuts.

Were you planning on being at the last race weekend? If so, I'll buy it from ya and pick it up then.

I'd be happy to help you weld up a trailer hitch mount if you're interested in going that route... Could probably get some 2" sq tube and 1/4" plate for next to no $$...

Appreciate the offer but the problem is more that there's generally a trailer attached to my trailer hitch. Also, I'm pretty sure the hitch that's on there has permanently rusted itself to my truck. Either way, I figure mounting it by the front or rear trailer doors would be a good place to mount tires.

Mike, can you make me one of THESE?

How much? Custom made, about 5' long? I suck at welding.

Holy shit that thing is overbuilt! I'd have to price the materials, but there ain't much to it. Looks like it's built to accept regular old 2" black pipe, so you could make it longer at some point just by adding longer pieces of pipe from Home Depot. Cool idea.

It would definitely be less than the $269 they want for it. Really just comes down to the cost of the steel. I even have some of those leveling feet sitting on a shelf. I can call my steel supplier tomorrow.

What's the largest diameter tire you'd want to put in it? 21"?
