Not mine but I know there are TLR fans here. Interesting bike - R1 front end, engine replaced due to high mileage.....

Fuckin' beautiful. He should've went with the 2000 paint scheme/decals though, in my opinion. That year had the little red "Nike swoosh) on the fairing & tailpiece.
Man, I miss mine!
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
$6,500.00 eh?

Thanks for saying what I was thinking............didn't want to be THAT GUY but you guys took care of it for me.
Mechanic for top MotoGP team could have built this thing out of NOS parts and it is still a 1999 TL1000R that is on it's second motor with some mongrel Yamaha front end on it. I'm sure someone will think it is a good deal and buy it and I hope that person enjoys it.
There's a woman with a fat ass, then there's a fat ass woman...
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
Agreed on both of these points.
A MINT stock one could be worth something to the correct buyer.
Being an owner of a first year TL1000S I am fully aware of just how much of a dumpster fire the electrical systems on these bikes can be. That reminds me, I need to rebuild the harness on mine.......
It looks like Suzuki decided to farm out the electrical to Norton for that bike. It's like no other Suzuki system. The lights, in particular are very poor. I did a lot of beefing up of the wiring on a TL1000R and it was good after that, but it tool some work.
Charging system benefits from a mosfet upgrade also.
I totally miss mine....this one is the WRONG color.....and I won't give up my R1.
maybe for $4k it will sell. Still way above market value. I haven't been on the TL sites in a long time, but when I left, stock, mint ones were going for $2,500-$3k.
