my old toy (again)

so i posted this hear a while back, and have posted it on CL a few times.

but im sick of seeing it sit behind my house rusting away so i just want it gone

a little background is it used to be my daily driver/obsession before i got a bike. i have owned it for about 4 years and used to put all my money and time into it

but it went to far to the off-road side and did not make a good daily driver at 8-10 mpg"s

the last straw was the fact that some one smashed the window and stole the stereo from it i have put a lot of blood sweet and tears into this and would just like to see it get used so the price is now $1500 wich is about the price of the tires/wheel package alone AND nada lists it between 2k and 3.5k Used Car Value



What I got is a 1993 s-10 blazer that has about every upgrade/performance part I could buy or think up

I started with a bone stock S-10 blazer with the tahoe package that had about 117,000 miles on it that came from PA so it didn’t have hardly any rust on it because they use coal dust instead of sand/salt mix like new England does. This was about 4 years ago.

I started by upgrading the stuff that needed it, such as alternator serpentine belt tie rods ball-joints drag link sway bar end links spark plugs wires distributor cap and rotor (all accel products) air intake and map sensor chip.

Then I got bit by the off-road bug and started by putting a 3” body lift on it to fit the 31” bfg all-terrains that I have

Then the 31’s turned into 33” tsl thornbird supperswampers so I put a 3” suspension lift on, wich was a torsion bar crank and an add-a-leaf with new springs in the pack, and also some fender trimming to fully fit the 33’s

I have also done a bunch of other mod that I can’t remember all of but I will try

Blauplunkt stereo with pioneer speakers

4x4 posi lock (it replaces the vacuum actuator in the front axle with a no nonsense manual operated lever

NOS front fenders

Rancho 9000 12 selectable dampening settings

Rancho anti sway bar shock add on

LED turn signal mirrors

Welded on spare tire holder with full sized spare!

Welded crash bar bumper with directionals and fog lights

Tow/recovery hooks front and rear

Leather electric adjustable drivers seat (from a 4 door tahoe)

New radiator with electric fan

Over sized wires to the alternator and starter

Steering wheel cover and seat covers, both with the bow tie

Painted black with “custom” rattle can

Sweet hood pins (added at lest 10hp )

Painted frame

New window motor on driver side

Amsoil synthetic fluid used in the whole truck

New rebuilt 4l60E tranny at about 135k

New u-joints

New high performance brakes

Brakes, sway bar end links, tie rod inner and outer and draglink all have life time warranty by Autozone

Tires are 33x12x15 tsl thornbirds on 15x8 chrome craigers with gorilla wheel locks

4” custom aluminum billet wheel spacers, cost me alittle over 400 to buy

I have also changed the tps and map sensor

Platinum 4 four plugs

Accel wires cap and rotor

New gas tank, sprayed with amsoil MP

New fuel pump and filter

There is probably a bunch more that I cant even think of, I have all receipts and I have spent in the neighborhood of 7k on every thing but I know that you never get what you put into a project/toy so that’s why I am selling it for 1,500

I think you'd do a lot better if you sold the tires separately, if you can find some stockers to put on it.

No fun in it, I just think you'd have a better chance of getting what you want out of it that way.

but if you buy the whole truck its like buying tires and getting a free truck!

just went to 4wheelparts.com (one of the cheapest places to get tires) and priced out the package that i have. it came to 1591.87 http://www.4wheelparts.com/shoppingcart.aspx

Is the spare a BFG All Terrain KO? I have a ZR2 myself and I need 1 tire to make my set complete. If so, is the tread in good shape?

I'll have to think about it. I don't need the rim and it'll cost extra to have a shop swap the tire.
