That's exactly what I'm looking for, but can't swing that price. Best I can afford is $16k, I suspect offering $10k less than asking will get me a swift kick in the junk.
For those that can't see the FB link. It's a 2002 Four Winds Fun Mover 31C, with a lift gate and 2nd AC for the garage, asking $27k and in CT.

Fourwinds fun mover - rvs - by owner - vehicle automotive sale
And, I was wrong, no lift gate on the back. The awning fooled me.
Forget about price. Big question is whether these fun movers can run Rotella.
Interesting, there is some conflicting info in the various ads, on FB it's listed as a 2002, either a 31' or 34'. The 34' is a Class A rig so it's clearly not that. The CL post doesn't specify a year. If it's a 2008 Fun Mover 31D that price is pretty much bang on for NADA.

For some reason, RV ads seems to be a scammer's paradise. Responders beware
That's definitely a 31', my guess is a typo on the year, and they mean 2012.

I'm sure some designations have changed in the years since, but here is the brochure outlining the chassis available in 2006, and the differences. That ad looks like a 31c, exactly what I have, but that one is newer.

In 2012 AFAIK they only made the Outlaw in a class A, and that small CRT TV would be way out of place as a built in in 2012. They also stopped making them under the Four Winds label in 2011... Hrmmm...

I think you can put a whole new front clip on an E450, but that'd be a LOT of work... I've emailed the CL listing, and fired off PMs on FB, now to see if anything comes from it.
So, if you had guessed 2002 with a 2010 front end, you'd win the prize!

My read of the owner on the phone is that he thinks VERY highly of the unit. I did advise him that I have to chase down NADA on it to see what my buying power is, and that's going to be way under what he's asking but $10k may be a stretch too far.
Also, no lift gate so...![]()
Do these RVs have a "season" like motorcycles or sporty cars? i.e., you have to sell it in good weather or pretty much put it away till the next good weather.
If that's true, your hand will only get stronger later in the summer Josh.
You're telling me that if the price were right you wouldn't be willing to suffer through using ramps?
Cause if so, expect a slap on the back of the head next time I see you.
Make the offer. Offer what you can afford and explain its what you got, they're welcome to take or leave.
It does say new "breaks", so that's a plus.![]()
Pluses:
- Dual AC, garage gets it's own
- Optional upgraded genny - 5kw vs 4kw
- New tires as of last year
- New rotors / calipers / pads / flex lines as of last year
- Radio upgraded with DVD / GPS head unit
- Additional LCD TV to go along with the 19" CRT
- Banks ECU reflash and controller
- Optional inverter
- BIIIIG Awning on driver's side
- Awning on the back for the garage
Cons:
- 2010 front end on a 2002 chassis... ?!?
- Roll up door, so no integrated ramps or lift gate, bring your own, store them somewhere in the unit
- Potential water intrusion at one point (some of the wallpaper is bubbled they noted)
The lack of a lift-gate / ramp door is a bit of a negative for me, part of my plan involves switching from 57 totes to a single rolling cart which is a PITA with manual ramps, plus as mentioned you have to store them somewhere which eats up space. So that does impact my willingness to spend (AKA moving the 'right price target') 'cause it means I have to spend some post purchase just to utilize the rig.
What's it cost to retrofit a lift gate?
I've been having a hard time getting good numbers on that. Used gates themselves can run from $500 to $1500, new much more. Installing involves welding plus relocating marker lights, and bringing in serious DC power (or AC off an inverter) to run the gate.
