You bought one? :dunno:
Looks like a '98-'00.
yep, picked it up last night:
-1997
-4wd
-4-cyl, 5-speed
-xtra cab
-88,000 miles

there is some surface rust on the frame, but it's the best frame I've seen in months, and I stuck my finger in every hole and felt the inside which felt smooth...it'll get prepped and undercoated in about a month
plans for it include:
-keeping it bone stock, well maintained, clean, and drive it like a grandmother to save on wear/tear/gas until the wheels fall off
-clean, prep, and undercoat the frame (maybe even something heavy enough to sound deaden the frame)
-lay down 2 layers of sound dampening all over the cab, seal the doors
-line-X the bed
-undercover/hard tonneau cover, bed extender
-7" sub under the passenger jump seat
-4-channel amp to power sub and front components
-nakamichi CD45Z headunit (light green illumination to match, of course)
-2nd gen iPod shuffle surface mount
-hardwired cellphone charger/mount
-navigation mount
-power windows/locks/keyless entry/remote starter
-stash tools under passenger seat
-stash tie-downs, bungee cords, and rags under driver's side jump seat
-folding aluminum, arched, ramps for the motorcycles
Congrats! good for you for not settling for something less, youre gonna love it. 88k miles? did you stay within your budget?
'bout time!:poke: :D congrats!
hahaha, thanks mikeb...I appreciate all your support...as this thread shows, I've done a good amount of searching to get what I wanted
otherwise, no...I spent a little more than I wanted to, but I got this for the long haul and I figure the little extra spent now will go a long way later on
the difference wasn't that bad, it just means I'll have to wait another month or so before I'm the safe zone to buy a house...
congrats on the purchase
