Base suit size used to create your custom was a 40 but the chest [fullest part] measures 42.75", the waist [navel] is 36" and the belt line is 36.50" The inseam measured to the ankle bone is 33.38", the fullest part of the hips measure 41".

I'm selling my 1 piece race suit. It is a custom fit Vanson they made for me in 06. It is all black, single zipper, Vanson GP armor (knees, elbows, shoulders and hips), 1 set of slightly used pucks, 1 new set of pucks included. Typical Vanson, perforated chest , legs, etc. I've been down in the suit once in 07, little low side in T1, the damage isn't life threatening. Custom Vanson's start at $1600, save yourself some cash on a suit that is like new. i got it in 06 and used it through the 07 season, haven't raced since then. That being said, it is a custom suit, they made it for me to fit me, of course you can try it on before buying, but to give you an idea, I'm 6'-0" and about 155 lbs, tall and lanky. The suit was built with the intention of just wearing a back protector, but I still had room to get a chest protector in there as well. You won't find a better deal on a better suit.

Yeah that reminds me... I have a stitcher this weekend at the track to work on ALLL VANSON GEAR! Yet another reason to buy Vanson. Free trackside repairs - so buy this gear!

Yes and Yes. Was supposed to be up this weekend but extended family trumped it and I am now booked to help out in an emergency move.

But in honor of fairness I am not looking immediate, What I have will get me through th erest of the year and give me a chance to 'bargin" shop over the winter. .. From my point of view in your suits case the fact it was custom made and you paid XXX is a non factor since it was not made for me so I cant compare it price waise to a price of what I would pay for a custom suit. And its been down. If I offer up a price it would reflect that. But good luck with the sale .. to me or to someone else
