I talked to Ryan Hobbs. He said he might have one. He was busy with the family at the track. PM him. Pasta-rocket.

How big is the "whole"? For a quick fix you can often JB Weld that shit if you're careful.

im racing this thing - no offense but that's a terrible idea!

i'd prefer to spend the hundred something bucks for a new or used one in perfect condition

No offense taken. It certainly wouldn't be the best solution, but it would be the cheapest, and could work in a pinch if you get stuck and need a backup plan.

Like I said, and especially if the hole is small, I have seen many people do this with no problems. The pressure built up in a radiator is nowhere close to the pressure required for JB weld to fail.

If you know someone who knows how to weld you could even use REAL welding to repair it for next to no money.

    Good luck.

saw them on solomotoparts for like $60

I believe it would have to be braised, not welded.

Braising - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Degs, is this what you had in mind? I didn;t know you could just cook it and it'd seal up Might want to add a good cut of meat in for good measure

    Noun

    braise
    1. Alt. of Braize
    2. A method of joining non-ferrous metal using a molten filler metal. Similar to soldering but distinct from welding in that the filler is melted but not the metal being joined.
