i checked argo's and they only have parts (fan, overflow, etc) for an 06 636. sorry dude.

How big is the "whole"? For a quick fix you can often JB Weld that shit if you're careful.

im racing this thing - no offense but that's a terrible idea!

i'd prefer to spend the hundred something bucks for a new or used one in perfect condition

No offense taken. It certainly wouldn't be the best solution, but it would be the cheapest, and could work in a pinch if you get stuck and need a backup plan.

Like I said, and especially if the hole is small, I have seen many people do this with no problems. The pressure built up in a radiator is nowhere close to the pressure required for JB weld to fail.

If you know someone who knows how to weld you could even use REAL welding to repair it for next to no money.

dennis i read those horror stories on t675.net about radiators getting trashed just on the street, so i picked up one of those cox radiator guards for my bike. maybe a bit expensive, but a good investment imho, nicely crafted, and fits nicely. you could probably just get some of that metallic mesh stuff at home depot and whip something up if you wanted to save some dough...

saw them on solomotoparts for like $60
