I'd like to be able to pass tech-in...that's what I mean.

929's are two pieces, a kicker section and then the guard mounted to the swingarm. There are aftermarket huggers that incorporate the chainguard.....Why? Whatchugot?

Argo didn't get back to me and I don't have an Ebay account so I can "buy now".

Anyone care to buy one using their Ebay and I'll send you money?

safety inspections do. went to two dealerships and they failed me for not having the chain guard on my bike. ended up getting my sticker at a harley shop

I don't Ebay enough to have an account......come to think of it, I've never Ebayed.

I saw the JDA one...how do you like it?

It looked like brushed aluminium in the pics....waaaay better than the chrome, IMO. Shit, anything's better than chrome!

On a side note: Two messages and Argo Cycles STILL hasn't gotten back to me...dunno WTF is up but it's kinda irritating.

Re: WTB: chainguard for a 929

I need it to pass tech inspection for track days or the strip.

I doubt the 929 will ever see the open road again...who knows...either way, I need one.

I see the one you linked is from Argo. How did you get in touch with them? Through Ebay or something? They had a guard on Ebay, an OEM 929 one, with a "buy it now" for 15 bux....dunno if it's still up there or not....

It's likely I'll be going with the JDA one simply because Argo pissed me off by not returning either of my e-mails....and that's being further reinforced by their cheap-prickedness with the guard you just posted.

Well, I took a trip up to Argo's yesterday and picked one up for $15.

The guy I spoke to helped me to understand why they never got back to me....Ebay is the best way to contact them....still, kinda irritating.

i noticed the same thing when I tried to call them last week for a headlight. I assumed you were emailing, and not calling them.

Yep. They should have a disclaimer on their website suggesting to contact thru Ebay only. Can't get thru on the phones either.........
