WTB - Duc front wheel, 17mm/20mm axle - CHEAP

I'm helping a friend revive a rat Monster, and it needs a new front wheel. Current one has a bend in the bead that's bad enough to prevent it from holding air, and he's not all that comfortable with having it straightened. Color isn't important, in fact, cosmetics aren't all that important either as long as the wheel is straight and true.

Bump - Anyone up for machining a 25mm axle wheel so it can accept the bearings from a 17mm/20mm wheel? (Bearing recesses need to be deepened, as the only 25mm ID bearings in that OD are thinner, so Duc changed the casting to match.)

Cool, let me know if/when you decide to sell. Now all I need to find are a set of GP style brake and clutch masters, some shift linkage bits, and a random assortment of screws and such, and teh rat duck lives!

MC Wheel in Swansey, NH does amazing work with wheels. I'd be suprised if they couldn't fix it.

Hah, I am SOOO damn tempted to get that thing. My wife would kill me though... at which point she'd sell it to Doc for half a shoe lace and a burnt out lightbulb to be delivered at a later date just to spite me.

Tell her I've got an entire shoe lace, ends intact, and a working light bulb...

The hope is to score something cheaper than the cost to get it repaired. : )
