    Smile WTB: Household Foo Foo

Started over a few months back, pretty much with nothing.

Got the big things covered (furniture and such) but I am still lacking in what I affectionately call household "foo foo".

Looking for just about anything. Wall art, prints, etc. Curtains, knick knacks, candles, small tables (end tables and such), vases, any kind of picture frames and decorative type items. Storage items like Rubbermaid boxes and closet shelving, etc. Throw rugs, that sorta thang.

Anything that helps to make a house a home . Its not exactly yard sale season so not having much luck finding this kind of stuff on a budget.

    Thanks

Check out the Ebays and Craigs Lists of the world....You can sometimes get pretty good deals ont hat sort of stuff. Target has a pretty good collection of curtains for pretty good prices (we just got a second set there for the sliding doors last night) and a bunch are usually on sale. Curtains you will most likely want to buy new so you can be sure they will fit your window.

Curtains are going to be the tough part. My place is a ground level apartment, so the foundation creates this shelf about 3 1/2 feet up the wall. So when you hang curtains from the window you have to consider this shelf, which is like 6 inches wide. Makes things diffiicult. I might have to make curtains or go with Roman shades to make it look right.

    Shameless bump

Also interested in finding a half way decent used computer (desktop or laptop) and possibly any office furniture. Doesn't have to be anything high-end or fancy.

I THINK we have end table and a coffee table (all matching) that we were gonna bring down to a consignment shop. If that's still the plan, you can come have a lookie first...
